MAGNETIC STRIP
It will be located on the back of the card, along the top edge, in accordance with ISO 7811-4 and ISO 7811-5.
This magnetic stripe shall be integrated into the card and shall have three tracks: tracks 1 and 2 for reading only, and track 3 for reading and writing, in accordance with the international standards referred to below. The card shall comply with ISO standards 7811-2, 7811-4 and 7811-5.

Magnetic strip
Magnetic strips can be high- or low-coercivity, depending on the resistance to magnetic fields required by the application, and may be:
- Lo-Co (low coercivity) magnetic strip, 300 Oe.
- Hi-Co (High Coercivity) Magnetic Strip 2750/4000 Oe.
The information contained on the magnetic stripe is organised into different tracks. The format and data structure of these tracks are governed by the international standards ISO 7813 (for tracks 1 and 2) and ISO 4909 (for track 3).
- FIELD 1: Maximum length: 76 alphanumeric characters. ASCII characters 32 to 95: 0–9, A–Z, full stop, comma, full stop, full stop.
- FIELD 2: Maximum length: 37 numeric characters. ASCII characters 48 to 63: 0–9, : ; < = > ?.
- FIELD 3: Maximum length: 104 numeric characters. ASCII characters 48 to 63: 0–9, : ; < = > ?.
